“Mission Valley Has Talent” is seeking musicians of all stripes, stand-up comedians and spoken word artists, dancers, gymnasts, any talent from those between the ages 5 and 95. January 31 is the deadline to register for the competition. Pick up registration forms at valley churches, banks, schools, senior centers or download from the Mission Valley Has Talent Facebook page. The talent showcase is scheduled for 7 p.m., Friday, March 9, at the Polson High School Auditorium. Two auditions will be held from which 12 competitors will be selected for the final event. This event is a fundraiser for the Helping Hands Fund, a non-profit ministry of the Polson Ministerial Association. Since 2004 Helping Hands Fund has provided emergency assistance to county residents, as well as to those traveling through who find themselves in need. MVHT sponsors are underwriting prizes for the first three winners of the event; first place, $500, second place, $300, and third place $200.
