Event Description

Learning during the infant period, before language, is remarkably swift and may have lasting influence. Studying the development of infants allows us to address questions about the origins of knowledge and how humans learn. In this class, we will focus on motor development, how scientists investigate infants' learning, perceptual development, the growth of social and emotional understanding, cognitive development, and the onset of language.
