Ann McDowell is a third generation Montanan by family, starting with her Deer Lodge and Great Falls/Helena grandparents. Ann came home to Missoula 25 years ago, after sojourns in New York, Arizona, Vermont and Berkeley. Her academic credentials are in technical theater and lighting design. Before coming to Montana Public Radio, Ann ran her own downtown kitchen and bath design firm and retail store. She loves to hike; huckleberry; read; walk her dog, Lily; spend time with friends; and listen to the radio.
