Advice For Jad Abumrad Before Visiting Montana

Radiolab's Jad Abumrad will be in Missoula Oct. 23 with his show about "Gut Churn."

In advance of Jad Abumrad's visit to Missoula this weekend, we asked you the most important thing Jad needs to know about Montana. Here's what you told him. Hopefully your advice will help minimize any "gut churn" related to his visit.

Here are our favorites. Hannah and Dave both won VIP packages to the show.

Hannah Pauli says: The most important thing Jad needs to know about Montana is that he will need to bring layers. Montana holds the record for the most dramatic temperature change to occur over a 24-hour period. In 1972 in Loma, the temperature rose from -54?F to 49?F #Chinookwinds
Dave Ayers says: He must ALWAYS remember that, in Montana, he is NOT at the top of the food chain. Not even top three!
Keira Studard says: Jad needs to know that Montana is home to the worlds largest snowflake. It was 15 inches in wide and 8 inches thick. It was found in Fort Keogh, Montana in 1887 by some soldiers. Record still holds.
Chrissy Roberts says: The most important thing Jad needs to know about Montana before he arrives is that MTPR might interrupt his show to announce a lost dog.
