On October 29th, MTPR returned the KUKL transmitter at 90.1 FM on Big Mountain to our full FCC authorized power after our proposed amendment was granted. We thank the Tally Lake District Ranger, administrators and staff for their time and consideration in this process. Bringing the signal up to full-power is an important step in resolving reception issues in the North Flathead. Rain, snow and other weather conditions can also compromise the satellite signal and we are working to resolve program delivery issues which occasionally present as short, frustrating drop-outs when we are operating on our backup system. We’re happy to have this first hurdle resolved and we’ll keep you informed as we have more progress to report.
