The House has approved a proposal to eliminate $700 million in already-approved funding for public media. If enacted, it would strip essential services and could force rural stations off the air. The Senate will take up the bill next.

Missoula School Administrators Suspended Without Pay

Missoula County Public School officials have suspended Sentinel High School principal Tom Blakely and Vice Principal Libby Oliver.

The unusual move comes barely a full week into the start of the 2014 school year.
