A proposal to claw back funds for public media has already passed the House of Representatives. Montana Public Radio and stations across the country receive critical federal funds to strengthen our work. The Senate could vote on the proposal in the coming days. Montana's historic rural schoolhouses make endangered list

The National Trust for Historic Preservation recently released its listing of America's eleven "Most Endangered Historic Places".

"I think that is a dynamic of being human; at the same time we look back at the things which have meaning for us...but at the same time - because we are human - we want to press on."

It includes sites from Maine to Alaska, and Montana's

historic rural  schoolhouses joined the list.
