On today's morning newscast: Montana lawmakers are planning to consider whether state officials can issue permits required under the EPA's new clean-water rule.

A Yellowstone County coroner's official has identified the 5-year-old who drowned in a culvert last week as a Billings boy. Lt. Bill Jones confirmed yesterday that Tristan Hunt died of fresh-water drowning.

A man has been charged with burglarizing a Great Falls church. The Great Falls Tribune reports officers responded to a call of glass breaking at Our Saviors Lutheran Church.
