On today's morning newscast: Flathead County officials say at least two homes and up to eight outbuildings were burned in a fast-moving fire that forced the evacuation of another two dozen homes in Evergreen, near Kalispell.

Glacier National Park officials say a wildfire that closed a popular area of the park only slightly affected the overall number of visitors in July.

The woman who was killed when the SUV she was in slammed into a light pole in Billings has been identified as Darlene Walters. The Billings Gazette reports that 57-year-old Walters was driving the 2008 Ford Escape when it crashed at about 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Heights area.
