MTPR Celebrates 50 Years With A Dance Party

Check out photos from Montana Public Radio's 50th anniversary party on Saturday. Thanks to all the listeners and supporters who joined us to celebrate!

The party started with story time for kids and families. After that, kids were treated to a presentation about raptors from Kate Davis. She brought four birds including a hawk and a great horned owl.

Later in the evening, MTPR DJs took the stage to kick off the dance party.

We were pleased that the family of MTPR founder Philip J. Hess joined us to celebrate and talk about Hess' legacy.

Thanks again to all our listeners and supporters. Lets do it again in 50 years.

Be sure to check out the photos from the party.
