New chamber jazz album inspired by Polebridge, Montana

Matt Scharfglass

Canadian-born composer and musician Rob Mosher has a new album out called "Polebridge" - inspired by the small Montana town on the northwestern edge of Glacier National Park. The chamber jazz album features Mosher and six other musicians, playing Mosher's original compositions.

Mosher recently spoke from his home in New York City via Skype with News Director Sally Mauk about the new album:

Retired in 2014 but still a presence at MTPR, Sally Mauk is a University of Kansas graduate and former wilderness ranger who has reported on everything from the Legislature to forest fires.
