The Flathead National Forest is revising its forest plan for the first time since 1986. The plan lays out what is and isn’t possible on 2.4 million acres of federal land from Seeley Lake to the Canadian border.
The forest service is launching a series of public meetings to talk about the draft plan beginning Tuesday, March 17 in Kalispell. Joining us now to talk about it is Joe Krueger, the project leader for the new Flathead National Forest plan.
"If anybody wants to have some input on the future of the Flathead National Forest, this is the time."
