The names of Crazy Horse and Sitting Bull are well-known but another less famous Native American leader had at least as great an impact on the history of the American West.

Oglala Sioux Chief Red Cloud

A new biography seeks to rectify that gap. It's titled "The Heart of Everything That Is: The Untold Story of Red Cloud, An American Legend." Red Cloud was an Oglala Sioux chief who was the only Indian to win a war against the U.S. Army. The book is co-written by the best-selling biographers Tom Clavin and Bob Drury.
In this feature interview, Drury talks with News Director Sally Mauk about Red Cloud's legacy - and how they came to write his story.
