Planned Parenthood of Montana's new president and CEO

Edward O'Brien

Planned Parenthood of Montana's new President and C-E-O, Martha Stahl, says she's a natural fit for the organization. Stahl describes her mom as a very strong woman with a passion for women's' rights issues while her dad is a United Church of Christ pastor. She says her family was always interested in social justice issues and equality for all.

Stahl is the third president and C-E-O in Planned Parenthood of Montana's four decade history. She left her position as vice president of external affairs for Planned Parenthood of the North Country New York, where she's worked for the past nine years.
In this evening's feature, Stahl talks with Edward O'Brien about Planned Parenthood's many successes and significant ongoing challenges.

Edward O’Brien first landed at Montana Public Radio three decades ago as a news intern while attending the UM School of Journalism. He covers a wide range of stories from around the state.
