Stan Howe, In-Person on "The Folk Show"

4/8/14: Join us this afternoon between 2:06-4:00pm as Stan Howe joins John Myers and Beth Anne Austein for the annual Public Radio Week "Folk Show." Expect songs about riding, pining, Rockies and springtime, loose change and sparing a dime, as well as stories about Stan's recent adventures in recording. John will improvise puns, Beth Anne will audibly roll her eyes, and your phone calls will add background cacophony. (800) 325-1565 or 243-6400 or mtpr.org to contribute.

Beth Anne Austein has been spinning tunes on the air (The Folk Show, Dancing With Tradition, Freeforms), as well as recording, editing and mixing audio for Montana Public Radio and Montana PBS, since the Clinton Administration. She’s jockeyed faders or "fixed it in post” for The Plant Detective; Listeners Bookstall; Fieldnotes; Musicians Spotlight; The Write Question; Storycorps; Selected Shorts; Bill Raoul’s music series; orchestral and chamber concerts; lecture series; news interviews; and outside producers’ programs about topics ranging from philosophy to ticks.
