Mainstreet Uptown Butte

"Front Row Center," July 7th: Beth Anne Austein talks with George Everett, Executive Director of Mainstreet Uptown Butte, about the Third Annual Montana Folk Festival, July 12-14 in Uptown Butte.

The free three-day festival features many styles of traditional music.  From blues, bluegrass, Cajun and Irish music to Ethio-jazz and funk, Vietnamese dan bao, South Indian classical dance and Latin dance music, the sound of the festival is enormously diverse.

Montana Repertory Theater

"Front Row Center," June 30th: Michael Marsolek talks with Greg Johnson, Artistic Director of the Montana Repertory Theater, about The Missoula Colony 18, taking place July 13 - 20, on the Montana Theater stage at the P.A.R.T.V.

Building at U.M. This annual playwrights' workshop includes public readings of new plays written by new and established writers.
