3/2/14: This week on "Front Row Center:" Michael Marsolek talks with Joy French, director of Missoula's Bare Bait Dance, about the premier of Montana's first screendance film festival, Kinetoscope. A relatively new art form, screendance combines the aesthetic and technical elements of both dance and filmmaking.

2/23/14: This week on "Front Row Center:" Michael Marsolek talks with Darko Butorac, music director and conductor of the Missoula Symphony Orchestra, about the film, recital, choral and orchestral events scheduled in "Beethoven Week," February 28th - March 9th.

** Update: due to weather, Lisa Smirnova's Feb. 28th recital has been rescheduled for 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, in the Music Recital Hall, University of Montana.**

Bare Bait presents new dances during Springboard 2014, over two weekends: January 24th-25th at 7pm and January 31st-February 1st at 7pm (with a 2pm matinee on Feb.1st) at The Elks Stage 112, Elks Lodge, 112 North Pattee Street, Missoula.

The multidimensional performance is a unique mixture of interconnected Salish women’s stories, poetry, and live music.
