He takes sides in a love triangle, helping Count Almaviva (tenor Alek Shrader) woo and win the beautiful Rosina (mezzo-soprano Isabel Leonard) from her old, lecherous guardian Dr. Bartolo (baritone Alessandro Corbelli).
