String Orchestra of the Rockies kicks of their 31st season with a concert titled "Sweet" Italianne, featuring cellist Matt Haimovitz. The performance will take place Sunday, September 20, at 7:30 p.m. in the Music Recital Hall on the University of Montana Campus.

4/27/14: This week on "Front Row Center:" Michael Marsolek talks with Allan R. Scott, Music Director and conductor of the Helena Symphony, about the final concert in the symphony's 59th season. Two works are on the program for Saturday, May 3rd, 7:30pm, at the Helena Civic Center. First, the orchestra, chorale, and vocal soloists Diana McVey and Evan Thomas Jones will perform Ralph Vaughan Williams's cantata, "Dona Nobis Pacem" (1936).

4/20/14: This week on "Front Row Center:" John Floridis talks with Grammy award-winning trumpeter Chris Botti.  The Great Falls Symphony Association presents Chris Botti, backed by Botti's nine-piece jazz ensemble, on Friday, May 2nd, 2014, 7:30pm, at the Mansfield Theater in Great Falls.

A relatively new art form, screendance combines the aesthetic and technical elements of both dance and filmmaking.

2/23/14: This week on "Front Row Center:" Michael Marsolek talks with Darko Butorac, music director and conductor of the Missoula Symphony Orchestra, about the film, recital, choral and orchestral events scheduled in "Beethoven Week," February 28th - March 9th.
